Bogotá offers the world a high-altitude, landlocked capital city with the world’s most consistent weather year-round. With a population the size of Hong Kong, it exudes with a fun creativity. The rain doesn’t matter that much when the world’s best coffee gets hand-poured at a proliferation of attractive cafes. It’s a surprisingly stylish city as well.

Biking Bogota is the best way to see the city and feel part of its ultra-healthy, ultra-popular biking culture.

These days, it’s laughable when uninformed outsiders consider the city dangerous. It’s an inspiring city of how far a place can come

STAY

ClickClack— probably your best bet if going to Bogotá for fun and dealing with a limited budget. Has the city’s best rooftop bar as well as restaurants, a HIIT gym in the lobby, and so close to the Parque 93 splendor.

Grand Hyatt — The super-spacious, stylish hotel where foreign dignitaries are known to stay. Great for those who have business near downtown/Candelaria district. As it’s close to the airport, it’s not great for those who will travel to northern Bogota north of 50th street.

Four Seasons Casa Medina — If money isn’t a consideration, and you want to be close to the best restaurants, this vintage-yet-restored hotel is a gem. Some rooms have functional…
