The book fleshes out the profound benefit from hitting the road for months or years at a time. It’s an inspiration for those with a case of pent-up wanderlust seeking to live the dream. The book can compel us to pack up our belongings and venture out within a couple of weeks. It’s that dangerous.
Vagabonding also reminds us that discovery doesn’t always require an exotic journey. For those with the vagabonding mindset at home, the book illuminates how we can discover the people in front of us, traveling through relationships and our own community. In short, we can look for adventure in normal life and normal life within adventure.
