Sensoji Temple
Asakusa’s main temple brings one back to Japan’s history and offers a strong sense of Japanese culture. Passing through the iconic Kaminarimon Gate, one finds the Nakamise Dori souvenir-shopping street, which leads to a complex of fascinating religious structures. Opened at Toyosu island (less than a 10 minute cab ride from the Ginza area), this has an Instagram-perfect immersive space comprising virtual experiences and digital art installation. The attached “Vegan Ramen UZU” restaurant is an often-mentioned feature of this museum.
